my name is nurul husna bt mohamad tawfiq..
i came from kolej islam sultan alam shah, klang selangor.
i am also one of the students for the spm leavers programme in uia.
today, i would love to share the story of the prophet nuh alaihissalam.
long,long ago, there were man and women, and then, there were families.
but soon the children of adam a.s began to stray to wrong path. this custom displeased allah s.w.t. so, he sent the prophet nuh a.s to the erring people to guide them to the right path. nuh a.s spoke to them in public and preached to them in private. after years of struggle and hardship only a handful of poor people listened to his call. at last, nuh a.s warned his people of an approaching flood, hoping that that would persuade them to ask for allah's pardon. but then, his people turned against him and tried to kill him. in great distress, nuh a.s prayed to his Lord, "help me Lord, i am overcome"
allah then ordered nuh a.s to build an ark "under our watchful eyes".
after a very long peiod of hard, tired work, the ark was finally ready. nuh a.s said, "embark!, in the name of allah, it shall set sail and cast anchor. my lord is forgiving and merciful". allah then asked nuh a.s to bring aboard with him each pair of living creatures along with his faithful believers. no sooner had they all on board, the rain started to pour.
more and more rain fell each day. the rivers overflowed and the water fell in torrents.
The Ark rose and fell on mountaneuos waves. But when the flood had reached it peak, allah commanded the sky to hold back the rain. The cloud began to part and the rain stopped, and as the level of the water began to go down, the mountain peak began to reappear.
The Ark began to rest on Mount Judi in a land now known as Turkey.
Nuh a.s and his companion thanked Allah for saving them from such a devastating flood. Everyone happily came out of the ark.
The animals were led to safety.
Nuh a.s prayed "Lord, make my landibg from this ark be blessed, for You alone can make me land in safety"
