 Bismillahi as-salaatu was-salaamu a'la Rasoolillah

قلب بين يدي قلب و بيد الله كل قلب
عين ترعى عينا، وعين الله ترعى
كلمة طيبة صدقة
تبسمك لأخيك صدقه
كل معروف صدقة
اللهم اشف شفاءً لا يغادر سقماً

this is my current ringtones because it is so addicted and i cant get it out of my head.

especially..اللهم اشف شفاءً لا يغادر سقماً
However I am not fully understand what is the meaning of this phrase.
26/1/2011. Today we went to a Moroccan house.

Alhamdolillah. i think it was nearly two months to three months i havent step a foot to their house. We dropped by to one of the closest friend of akak-akak in Dirasat Islamiah. She is 48 years old. Surprise? neh.. its ordinary here in Morocco.

Okay, so for the first time in my life i had a seafood Bastella and its was splendidly delicious. Its brilliant!. We finished the Bastella in no time till Hajah Fatimah warned us it was only the appetizer. After that, we being served with Salatoh a mixed salad plus other vegetables such as chopped carrots added with mayonnaise tuna type. Besides the large size Green Bean Tajine that we ate with home-made bread (khubz). As the dessert we had a lime pie and brownies and some cookies. Stating all of these foods is enough draining my mouth watered with saliva.

The most important is that, I could never deny the respect, the kindness that Moroccan show to us. They are soo generous towards us though we are complete strangers to them. Will Malaysian would give such help and good despite we are being paranoidly afraid of every strangers. I guess we should take the example of such generosity just like what Moroccan did. Yeah, not every Moroccan are generous and kind towards strangers like us, plus not all Malaysian are cold towards strangers too. Its vice versa. But we can take the good virtue right?

Back to Hajah's Fatimah house, I did ask her, what is the meaning of اللهم اشف شفاءً لا يغادر سقماً
. I told her that the first part is no problem to me. The part means we ask Allah to cure us. But then لا يغادر سقماً confused me. So I ask her what is the meaning for this phrase. Then she said that سقماً means death. My friends helped me understand her by saying that maybe the translation would be that Allah will cure anything except death. hmmm...

But still I am not contented with the answer.

So at the end of the day, we thanked Hajah Fatimah's for her delicious food and for inviting us to her house. When we reached house, unexpectedly Hajah Fatimah called Kak Azma because she want to talk with me. I was surprised as I have no idea why would she want to talk with me. So I took the phone from Kak Azma, after saying ''Kaif Hal'' and so on, she said that the meaning of اللهم اشف شفاءً لا يغادر سقماً means that Allah would cure any kind of sickness and he would never leave any side effect of the sickness.

Alhamdulillah, so I got the answer now.

That is what I got from what I searched. If its wrong do correct me!. Allah yujzik lkhayr.
